the world is a small place

i have separation issues and where they come from baffles me ! I have never been abandoned but for some reason i become attached to people and places and when it's time to say goodbye i struggle ! in 1984 my family hosted a cute little blonde californian girl for a year , Bonnie lived with my family and we became family , we are sisters and over the past , almost 35 years we have stayed in contact bracts visiting each other in our respective countries at least every 2-3 years! Today i had to say good bye again until next vista and that just breaks my heart ! the world in terms of communication , travel , online shopping, business and a plethora of other bits and bobs is so much smaller and we all dabble in international communication each day but when it comes to love and family the world is huge and especially as we age it is a reality check as to just how often we will be able to physically see each other and than there is the cost of travelling to far ! so again the world is a huge place when it comes to spending time with those key people especially when they live in the other side of that big world ! on an up note we had such great time seeing each other and hanging out, but 4 days , in the  grand scheme of life isn't enough ! i'm  blessed we have the means to visit chicago and be with Bonnie so often and  i'm blessed 

 his little yank come into our lives and i make the most of the time we have together and the rest is facetime phone calls and care packages !!
